Express Passenger: A "combispace" version with five full-sized seats and a large 800-liter boot, primarily sold in international markets outside Europe.

The original Renault Express (also known as the Renault Rapid or Renault Extra) was a legendary utility vehicle based on the second-generation Renault 5.
Legacy: It was a market leader for over a decade, known for its "sedan atmosphere" and "giraffe hatch" (a rear roof flap for long items).
Successor: It was officially replaced by the first-generation Renault Kangoo in 1997.
