Dr Borg served as Attorney General between 1983 and 1988.
He was a former president of the Graduates Movement of the Azzjoni Kattolika, as well as honorary president of St Philip Band Club of Zebbug. For a number of years, he was also a regular contributor on legal matters on RTK radio. He is survived by his wife Audrey and his sons David and James.
Former Attorney General Joseph G. Borg died at Mater Dei Hospital on November 23, 2008, at the age of 80.
