LEGO BrickHeadz

LEGO BrickHeadz

LEGO BrickHeadz is a popular and ongoing LEGO theme of collectible, buildable figures first introduced in 2016, which reimagines iconic characters from various franchises and original themes in a distinctive, blocky, and stylized form.

Design and Features

The figures are known for their unique aesthetic, characterized by large, square-shaped heads and small bodies. The build style is relatively simple, with the core internal structure being common to most models, allowing for easy customization.

Dimensions: Most figures measure over 2 inches (5.1 cm) tall and come with a display baseplate.

Standardized Build: The core design uses twelve 2-brick-tall pieces with studs on one side to form the head's interior, around a 4x4 central plate.

Unique Details: Characters are made recognizable through clever use of specific brick colors, printed tiles, and unique accessories and hair pieces.

"Go Brick Me" Sets: The theme also includes sets like Go Brick Me (41597), which provide a range of pieces and instructions for builders to create custom characters or even their own likeness.

Themes and Franchises

The BrickHeadz line has a wide variety of sets based on popular licensed properties as well as original concepts.

Licensed Themes: The collection spans numerous franchises, including Star Wars, Marvel Super Heroes, DC Comics, Harry Potter (Wizarding World), Disney (including characters from Pixar films, Mickey Mouse, etc.), Minecraft, Stranger Things, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, One Piece, and many more.

Original/Seasonal Themes: Original lines include the Pets sub-theme (featuring various dog breeds, cats, etc.) and a range of Seasonal characters for holidays like Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

Exclusives: The line debuted with limited-edition figures at San Diego Comic-Con in 2016, and some sets remain store or event exclusives.

LEGO BrickHeadz remains an active and popular theme, with new sets continually being released to satisfy collectors.
