LEGO Spider-Man

LEGO Spider-Man

The LEGO Spider-Man theme is an ongoing product line first introduced in 2002, now part of the larger LEGO Marvel Super Heroes franchise. It features a vast collection of sets, minifigures, and vehicles based on the comics, films, and animated series.

History of the Theme

The LEGO Spider-Man theme has evolved over several distinct periods:

Original Run (2002-2004): The initial sets were part of the LEGO Studios line and were based on the Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 films.

Relaunch as Marvel Super Heroes (2012 onwards): After a hiatus, the theme returned as a sub-theme of the broader LEGO Marvel Super Heroes line, incorporating characters from various comics and the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.

Movie Tie-ins: Since the return, LEGO has released numerous sets tied to the Marvel Cinematic Universe films (Homecoming, Far From Home, No Way Home) as well as large collector's sets based on the comics and other media.
