Russia Strikes Kyiv Bridges as Ukraine Seeks a Limited Ceasefire

Russian aerial strikes hit key bridges across the Dnipro River in Kyiv, killing at least one person and disrupting transport for thousands of residents. The attacks also struck a school and power infrastructure, as Ukraine warned that Moscow is intensifying its campaign against critical infrastructure ahead of winter.

At the same time, Ukraine says the United States, India, Turkey and Egypt have separately proposed limited ceasefires covering attacks on energy infrastructure and Black Sea grain shipping. Kyiv has indicated it is willing to consider such arrangements, although Russia continues to demand a broader peace agreement.
