North Korea Fires Ballistic Missiles After South Korean Hypersonic Test

North Korea has launched multiple suspected ballistic missiles towards the sea off its eastern coast, according to South Korean and Japanese authorities. South Korea's military reported that one missile travelled more than 900 kilometres before falling into the sea. The launches follow South Korea's recent test of a hypersonic weapon and represent another escalation in the two countries' increasingly tense military relationship.
