The latest entertainment releases include Disney+'s live-action adaptation of Moana, the return of the French crime series Lupin for its fourth season on Netflix, and a new album, Muse, from American singer John Legend. The releases illustrate how major streaming platforms continue to combine familiar franchises with returning international series and new music.

The Associated Press's weekly entertainment guide also highlights a new film directed by Olivia Wilde, alongside television releases and video-game launches. These launches form part of a competitive entertainment market in which streaming services seek to attract and retain subscribers with a steady flow of recognisable titles and new productions.

Why it matters: Streaming releases remain a major part of the global entertainment business, shaping viewing habits and competition among international media companies.
